INTRODUCTION OF SOCIETY.

  • The New India Assurance Emp. Co-op. T & C. Society Ltd. (Regd.No.X-413) was formed in the year 1959 and got registered under Madras Co-operative Society Act 1932 with the area of operation limited to Madras City.
  • Society’s main objective is to cater the credit needs of the Employees’ of THE NEW INDIA ASSURANCE EMPLOYEES’ CO-OPERATIVE THRIFT & CREDIT SOCIETY LTD. No. X-413.
  • It was converted as a Multi State Cooperative Society under the Multi State Cooperative Societies Act IV of 1942 on 19.06.1974.
  • The society’s area of operation also extended to the States of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Union Territory of Pondicherry.
  • The membership of the society is 1291 as on 31.03.2025.
  • The society borrows funds in the term of deposits from members and loans from Chennai Central Cooperative Bank Limited to meet out the members requirement for Surety Loan.
  • The society collects following deposits from our members.
